Booking & Cancellation Policies
Please review the following policies before submitting your booking request.
Booking
Appointments are requested through this website and confirmed directly by Lou.
Submitting a booking request does not guarantee or confirm an appointment. Lou will review your request and contact you to confirm availability, service details, location, and scheduling.
Your appointment is officially secured once availability has been confirmed and your $100 non-refundable deposit has been received.
Deposit & Payment
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your first scheduled service, unless otherwise discussed.
Payment methods are Zelle or cash. Payments are not processed through this website.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
At least 24 hours’ notice is required if you need to reschedule your appointment.
Because appointment and travel time are reserved specifically for each client, the $100 deposit is non-refundable.
Late cancellations, same-day cancellations, or missed appointments may result in the scheduled session being forfeited.
Please contact Lou as soon as possible if your plans or surgery schedule changes.
Late Arrivals & Mobile Appointment Times
Shapes by Lou is a mobile service and travels from client to client throughout Miami-Dade and Broward County.
Please allow some flexibility with your scheduled appointment time. Arrival times may occasionally change due to traffic, travel distance, the needs of the previous client, or circumstances outside of our control. If there is a significant delay, we will make every reasonable effort to keep you updated.
Clients who are unavailable or more than 10 minutes late when Lou arrives may have their session shortened, rescheduled, or forfeited depending on availability.
Parking & Valet
Any parking or valet fees required at your home, hotel, condominium, Airbnb, recovery location, or other service location are the client’s responsibility.
Your Surgeon Comes First
Always follow your surgeon’s post-operative instructions, including when you are cleared to begin massage.
Lou may ask about your procedure, recovery stage, surgeon’s instructions, medications, or other relevant information before providing services.
If you experience a medical concern or complication, please contact your surgeon or appropriate healthcare provider.
Consent Form
After your booking is confirmed, you will receive a consent form that must be carefully read and signed before your first service.
Services cannot begin until the required consent form has been completed.
Photo & Video Consent
Photos or videos may be taken to document your recovery progress. Promotional use of your photos or videos requires your permission.
You may choose to:
- Allow your content to be shared
- Request that your face or identifying features be blurred or hidden
- Decline promotional or social media use
Declining promotional use will not affect your ability to receive services.
Transportation
Post-op transportation must be requested in advance and is subject to availability.
Transportation may include surgery pick-up, transportation to your recovery location, and medication pick-up or drop-off when arranged in advance.
